Welcome to Dolland Elementary School

Dearest Dolland Families,

Welcome to our new school year! Although we had a shorter summer due to our district-wide calendar changes, we have had an opportunity to be reflective and plan new and refreshing ways to engage our students and help them with their learning. Part of this includes teaming with our families to help create the best possible version of our school. We want Dolland to shine and we are collaborating to show you that with team work greater things are possible.
Some of our new and exciting programs this year will include addressing the social- emotional needs of our students. We spent time this summer as a staff reflecting on the importance of having our students emotionally well so they are ready and open to learning. This year, we will continue to provide systematic academic intervention and continue to challenge all our students to acquire the common core skills and strategies they need to demonstrate proficiency.

You will also see, this year, we will begin a more comprehensive integration of technology with our instruction. All of our classrooms will be receiving more technology resources to support learning and instruction in an engaging and innovative way.
Our school’s instructional leadership team has also designed new ways we can celebrate the positive behaviors and learning achievements of our students. Please support us by being a part of our school and recognizing the growth and learning your children are making. Your participation at our school events means the world to us all.
